Dm10 was a trial Diesel Multiple Unit made by VR Pieksämäki works in 1994. It was modified from express train wagon Eit 23018. It was thougth to be new DMU for basic lines. It was used on lines Ylivieska-Iisalmi and Savonlinna-Parikkala for a short time. Because it is not best solution for local traffic and has brake problems, it is not used anymore in revenue traffic, but in charter traffic around Joensuu. On summer 1997 it was used between Savonlinna and Retretti. Dm10 should be discarded..
