Sv1 was a trial locomotive for converters and AC 3 phase traction motors.
Sv1 was ligth shunting and freigth locomotive. It was changed from Dv12
locomotive number 2501. Locomotive was manufactured by VR Hyvinkää
works, and electric parts come from Oy Strömberg Ab, now part of ABB.
Locomotive was ready in June 1980 and changed back to Dv12 in 1984.
